! I'm done… I finally finished the project I have been talking about! Last year, I had an idea to expand High Voltage even further. I had to do a lot of planning ahead in order to get everything planned out and in order. In January of 2013, I started to make preparations to put this idea into motion. Over the past couple of months, I have been busy trying to set this project up and make it as professional and perfect as it can be (I'm sort of a perfectionist

). Though the project is finally up and running, it will never be 100% done. I will continue to update it and make it better whenever I can.

About 'Terrible Art' blogs...As a majority of I'm sure know, there are many, many 'Terrible art' and Terrible OC/FC' blogs all over Tumblr. Most of the people I have seen hate these blogs and have even sent death threats to the creators of these blogs.
However, I would have to say that I support these blogs.
And I'm pretty sure I just lost a lot of you with that last sentence. Fine, go ahead, block me, unwatch me, whatever.
I am a part of the Worst Ponys OCs blog and the Fuck Yeah Bad Sonic Characters blog. On a regular basis, these people receive hate messages stating that they are terrible people themselves and need to leave other artists alone, they have no creativity, that they shouldn't bash on other's characters, etc. I could go on.
While some may consider it mean, rude, spiteful, or such to post on these blogs, all we are doing are showing our opinions that these characters aren't that great. There have been many people who have closed their dA accounts or have stopped drawing because of these blogs, yes -

Ok,you know whats been bugging me? I live in Northern Virginia, so I get commercials that play in Maryland as well. I've been seeing a bit of this "Question 6" shit on the air recently. Basicly, the vote for Question 6 will determine if gays can legally marry in the state of Maryland. The anti-gay commercial I've seen are all talking about how "statistially," children raised by one man and one woman are happier and healthier, and keeping marriage between straight people would "help future generations"
And yet no one says SHIT about stuff like "16 and Pregnant"

WT Update (and also tumblr but mostly WT)Right, all the slots are FILLED.
so I just have to determine the order you guys'll show up and actually get my hands on powerpoint.
and, if its 2010, go on a 1-3 week crash course learning curb because i have NEVER used it for WT. I used 2007 for the original version.
So, the stuff you care about-
Expect episode of the remake, or at LEAST the op, within a month. As for the actual series, it'll be just about the same with a few minor changes- (possibly) animated text, the occasional drawing thrown into the mix (for those moments where a sprite's never-chaning face just does NOT cut it), better music, and some minor changes in the story, mostly just to fix what I dont like about the original or just compensate for the new characters. Don't worry, it's still the same story.
Also, I'll be starting up 2 tumblr blogs- one for LOZ, one for KAD, as soon as i get scanner access back. I'm working on the icons now.

Improving Your Art: Lesson Learned from PokemonI was on tumblr and I saw this really brilliant post by e1n so I figured I'd share it with you all. I'll link back to the original post at the end.
The recent ask about improving got me thinking, so I thought I'd share this with you guys.
Now, I'm gonna start with a very cliche thing, but improvement does take a long, long time. I was told by a teacher that if you notice improvement within a few days/weeks, that means you're still sucking hard, haha. Because when you're at a really really low skill level, it's much easier to improve, but once you're decent, it takes way longer to improve, and the journey gets harder.
Here's a good Pokemon analogy: When you're playing Pokemon in the beginning, it probably takes you a few minutes to level up from 5 to 6, but after you beat the Elite Four, leveling up from 55 to 56 takes goddamn forever. Girl pushed down the sewer - FALSEI have seen some pepople passing this journal around about a girl named Carmen who was pushed down the sewer by some girls who wanted to make fun of her infront of the whole school and died. In the story they also said that the girls said she fell by accident and people believed them. Later people got emails about it on Myspace, claiming that she was pushed and didn't fall and everyone who didn't repost it would die in the same way Carmen did because she killed them. Blah blah blah.
One part of the story caught my attention tho "google her name and you will find out that this story is true" so I did. The 3 sites I looked at claimed that it was false, one even had proof. This is what I found http://www.snopes.com/horrors/ghosts/winstead.asp
You should have a look at that if you actually believe in this story.

Fall of Xephos Contest (Update 1)

Just a reminder, it's now December and Chapter 2 of the FoX comic series is underway (even when I said I would take a break from it, dear Notch!) : ) just letting you all have a reminder, first of many, to get to starting on those entries XD

Fall of Xephos Contest

Since the poll tells me that alot of you want a FoX contest I'm going to go for it and give yah all a contest...
Now judging from the poll the people whom want a contest is over 70 people, if I don't get at least a 4th of that (which is just 17 to 18 people) I'm pulling the contest and not going to have a second contest once the series is over.

The contest is simple -

There will be two catagories. Best Picture and Best Short Story and there must be at least 17 people entered for both to continue that particular catagory for contest or I will drop the catagory.

Theme

FoX related. There will be no cross overs, no OCs, just those who are of the SoI universe, FoX universe, and Yogscast. However you like, drawn or story told however you like, just make the entry as pleasing and as attention catching as possible.

All Entries must be sent to me by note with the title "FOX Contest Entery" or the entry will not be accepted. Each person is allowed only 2 entries and ONLY 2 entries. Make them count.

Picture Entry Rules

Please, no line art or scratch drawings. Can be either digital or traditional. No slashings please, you all should know by now how I feel about slashings. Pairings are fine "IF" they are cannon to the SoI universe.

Short Story Entry Rules

Please, don't make your story longer than 2000 words. Do not present too many spelling or gramatical errors (makes it rather hard to read). Stay in the FoX or SoI universe please. No Slashings or explicitive writing. Be as expressive as you can. Make the short story easy to understand and fun to read. Capture your audiance with your writting.

Prizes

There will be a first prize for each catagory, if a catagory is dropped I will add prizes to the other catagory to give more people a change to win.

Grand Prize

-- A stand alone Digital/Traditional picture of any minecraft charactor or your pickings, drawn and fully colored by me. (Complete with written out traits and skills as like a profile picture, but if you want this off let me know).

-- A Digital/Traditional picture of what ever you want (up to two people in picture).

-- A charactor designed by you (whether it is your Minecraft charactor or not) to be seen in the up coming chapters of Shadow of Israphel - Fall of Xephos comic series as either a Yognought or an Israphel Cultist.

**Note - I will be adding more prizes later if one of the catagories is dropped**

DEAD LINE

You have to the point where I get to Chapter 2, page 10 of FoX. Seeing how long I take to update pages people you got about...3 months or longer to get entries in.
REMEMBER - the contest will not go to judging if I do not get at least 17 people in one of the two catagories. If I get at least 17 people in both catagories then this will be a very fun contest : )
