Dr. Jekyll - Dr. Franken

Thanks to for allowing me to draw her style of Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde, I came up with this little bit

Being a horror comic writer, I love the classical horrors of the time. Tales like Bram Stoker's Dracula, The Wolf Man, The Picture of Dorian Gray, The Curious Case of Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde, Dr. Frankenstein, and many other cool tales have always been a big insperation in my works.

I had a story I had started working on some time back with Mistressinblue known as "Doc Franken" and I wanted to turn it into a Web comic for people to see and view and if got enough people loving it I would make a sellible book. Anywho, here's a bit of information.

Dr. Victor Frankenstein (Franken) - Personality:

A solitary recluse who enjoys spending most of his time experimenting with corpses than really socializing with anyone. He has an outlook on life that is rather morbid, thinking constantly on the ideals of a person's true essance.

He's not a nice man, in fact he's rather rude to people he finds greatly unpleasing to be around when he's forced to go to public events by his reanimated servants. The only reason why he even conciders Dr. Jekyll a friend is his rather horrid perdicament with Hyde and states that Jekyll can not hide his primal side like all the wretched people in the near town.

Franken once lived in Transilvania which shortly after he found the elixer of life the Count of the land (Dracula) demanded him to give the elixer to him which the doctor declined by saying "Bugger off you overgrown $@%% bat". After faking his death and moving away they are still enamies to this day and Franken is constantly hounded by Dracula's Lycans.

The image at the bottom of this pic....Dr. Franken has an extream fear for fire. The reason behind is only explained at the end of the comic series, so sorry, no spoilers from me.

Dr. Henry Jekyll - Personality: First off, I love 's version of Jekyll and Hyde. His appearance really suites him well.

Back to info, Jekyll in the story came from London into this tale after Hyde made some rather nasty business and got him chaced out of England all together. He used to live in a nice single story house in the town living alone like he always had before so that no one would know of Edward Hyde.

He's a rather passive person yet at times when something just crosses him the most wrong way he tends to let Hyde take some bit of control. In the story Jekyll is a doctor for a rather wealthy Countess and her family. He has a bit of a quiet love for the poorer treated daughter of the Countess though knows if he showed feelings for this girl Hyde would just come in and destroy it.

His connections to Franken is like a brotherly bond in a way. They met on two different terms...Hyde being the first to see him and almost laid waste to him, but Jekyll met Franken in a store shortly after Hyde had caused a great amount of trouble and became greatly ill do to Hyde's little....cannibelistic habits.
